Soya Meal GMO and Non-GMO  

Milled from clean certified soya beans. Soybeans contain approx 38% protein and 18 % fat. (Approx 10 % of the fat is lecithin) Soy flour contains lipoxygenase (LOX) which acts as a catalyst  turning poly-unsaturated fats into hydro per-oxide   which acts as a bleach on caratenoid pigments resulting in a whiter bread crumb. Lox also enhances the strength of gluten formed when flour and water is mixed and the dough becomes less sensitive to over-and under mixing. Leicithin is a natural emulsifier  combining fat and moisture to improve bread crumb structure and shelf life.

In both gluten and gluten free baking soya adds flavor and gives a moist quality to baked goods

White Rice Flour

Rice is the seed of a grass species. Rice of which the husk has been removed but it has not undergone  any form of heat treatment is called white rice (raw). This is the rice we put through our stoneground mill to produce white rice flour.

Rice flour is widely used in gluten free recipies. It is a common substitute for wheat flour. Noodles, pastries and cakes are made with rice flour. It is also used as a thickening agent for soups and stews. Rice flour inhibits liquid seperation and is therefore used in food products that require refrigeration or freezing.

Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour

This is the genuine item. Whole wheat kernels ground into flour with no refinement – all the nourishment stays inside

As is the case with natural wheat, whole wheat flour consists of approximately 20 % bran

This brings a nutty flavour with a dark brown colour to baked goods

The stone milling process gives a flour rich in fiber, it is less damaging to vitamins leaving  B Vitamins, iron, magnesium, zinc and anti-oxidants largely intact.

 This flour can be combined with cake or white bread flour depending on the desired final outcome of baked items

Used for artisan bread,  multigrain bread, muffins, pizza crust, thickener, batter.

Icing Sugar 

Used in icings, confections, beverages and also to preserve. The fine texture makes it ideal for dusting cakes and pastries – adding a decorative touch. It improves the taste of baked products and preserves it by sealing in the moisture

Due to the rising awareness of celiac diseases, gluten sensitivity and general health trends, there is a growing demand for gluten free products

Ingredients, : White rice flour, Sorghum flour, Maize Starch, Tapioca Starch, Almond Flour, Xantham Gum

This flour can replace wheat flour on a cup for cup basis replacing  in most recipies

 It is used for bread, muffins, scones, pastry and pie crusts, pancakes and flapjacks.

Most certainly we are. We could jointly investigate different products whereafter we could supply you. You could also buy your own raw material inputs which we mill and supply back to you according to your specifiction

With every change from one commodity to the next a deep clean of the milling plant is required. This is costly and time consuming. To avoid unproductive downtime we as a rule dont’t accept consignments less than 5 metric ton

The minimum size for deliveries is 1 metric ton. Smaller quantities can be collected directly from the mill site. Normally deliveries are in multiples of 8 ton. For smaller quantities there is an extra delivery charge

Sunsavor is predominantly a cash business. Payment terms are normally cash on order. Arrangements for longer payment terms can be made

Our raw materials are bought from approved suppliers. During procssing every care is taken to ensure consistant quality. If after all this care we deliver a defective product we will collect and replace on our account. We unfortunately can not accept the risk of consequential damages
